The Blue's Brothers are first generation outcross from Oriental Shorthair Klazeekats Blue of CowboyClaws. They have been handraised since birth because their born-bald Peterbald mother did not have enough milk to support them. Handraising a kitten can often result in a very strong people/cat bond with more than the usual verbal and non-verbal cues being exchanged almost effortlessly. The Blue's Brothers are important to our program because they are the foundation of our effort to develop a lower earset as prescribed by the latest version of the TICA Standard for Peterbald. Other features that the Blue's Brothers will assist us with developing kittens that more accurately represent the details of the current interpretation of the TICA Standard are the wide ear base, the blunt ended muzzle and the sharper angled two plane profile.
