Peterbald

The Peterbald, with little or no hair to keep them warm, must rely on their owners to provide a proper environment for them. If you enjoy having a cool breeze flowing through open windows or if you keep your home very cool in the summer/winter, your Peterbald will appreciate a heating pad set on low. Also, many of them enjoy a sweater or jacket. I cut the bottom edge of a sweatshirt sleeve to make Peterbald sweatshirts. Knit sweaters for kittens can be made from socks. It's best if you only cut one large hole for the front legs rather than cutting two smaller holes. The large single hole seems to allow greater range of motion and makes a significant difference for some Peterbald in the initial adaptation to the new clothing.

Brice, who only has a couple of whiskers to call his own, wears a sweatshirt in the winter to retain his body heat.

Because its such a small inexpensive crafty type item to make, you can decorate them and change them out as frequently as you desire.
